Needles

The right choice of needles depend on thickness of fur, skin, fat and muscle tissue of the animal.

For viscous medication we recommend needles with 2 mm diameter, because the lateral openings are larger to enable rapid emtying of syringe.

For large and heavy syringes we recommend to use collared needles to make sure the syringe can unload fully before it falls off.

From experience in field following choices have been proven:

length up to 20mm: i.e. small animals like stray dogs
30 mm: i.e. deer, horses, cattle, tigers
40 mm: i.e. adult cattle
60mm and more: i. e. large animals with big fat layers

TeleDart ® Injection Needles

are available for all species of animals. Various lengths (20 mm to 100 mm) and diameters (1.5 mm / 2.0 mm / 2.5 mm) as well as different versions (plain, collared (cone) or with barb) mean the range of products is extensive.

Innovative & Safe
The innovative needle base guarantees an optimum fit and, together with the TeleDart® dart syringe, forms a 100 % sealed and safe unit.

Clever
Specifically adapted to the needle base, the dart needle tool makes it easy to insert and pull out the needle.
TeleDart® injection needles are closed at the tip. 5 – 8 mm from the tip there are two lateral injection ports that ensure optimum transfer and release of the drug or anaesthetic. At the same time, the danger of blockage of the needle is reduced.

Delivery includes 5 silicone sealing sleeves per needle.
